Gruß Share this post Link to post
Modula 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2005 hast du dich mal auf www.sf.net umgesehen? Dort finden sich eine vielzahl auf GNU Licence basierende Scripte, man muss nur ein wenig suchen :) Share this post Link to post

Nomad 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2005 Hi, what a small world.... Do you use a MySQL based system or do you have a generic Database application which is then connected with your webinterface? I'm planning to offer spec sheets with additional material like pictures or brochures. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
Leafields 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2005 I am not the technical expert, but: We maintain our database in the office using FilemakerPro. The data from this is uploaded to a web based SQL database. We are using php language. It is not too complicated. Becasue of the scripting ability of FilemakerPro we automatically run a nightly search of the database for any model that has changed and upload the changed data. The database contains up to 700 fields of data per model (depending on the type) and we have about 7000 models. We extract all this from company spec sheets and brochures. We also sell our data in pocket books in 5 languages including German. Are you interested in putting specification data on your Bau24 web site or just brochures?
