würde gerne diesen zusatz in: Terms of Service

einfügen.

Weder noch - also zum einen verstösst Du damit bestimmt nicht gegen eine Lizenzbestimmung, zudem ich Dir da eh empfehlen würde, diese mal gegen eine deutschsprachige auszutauschen bei Gelegenheit (was bringt Dir eine englischsprachige, wenn es mal zu einem Rechtsstreit kommen sollte...?).

Und zum anderen ist das nicht in einem Template enthalten, sondern in der lang_register.php im verwendeten language-Ordner. :) (beim 1.3 - beim 2.0 ist das über's ACP zu erreichen).

Heyho, freut mich, daß ich helfen konnte.

Um nochmal meine Frage aufzugreifen: Du betreibst doch ein Forum unter .de (.at .ch) Domain, also nach deutschem (österreichischem, schweizerischem) Recht? Oder zumindest ein deutschsprachiges Forum?

Ich frag halt nur, weil ich mich wundere, warum Du den Zusatz denn in englisch formuliert hast...?

Mir wäre das eh zu heikel... welchen rechtlichen Bezug werden englischsprachig formulierte Nutzerbedingungen und Haftungsausschlüsse auf einem deutschsprachigen Board so haben? :blink:

(bei solchen Terms of use geht es halt nunmal, gleich welchen Charakter das Forum dazu hat, darum: Haftungsausschluß und Nutzungsbedingungen im Sinne von Vertragsbedingungen - ich halt zwar selber nicht viel von diesem Rechtsgedöns, aber lieber hier einmal zuviel Sorgfalt reingesteckt als später dadurch Probleme kriegen...)
