Rebuild der posts per Script

Mahlzeit ;)

Ich möchte nächste Woche mein IPB von 2.1.7. auf 2.3.1 upgraden. Da meine DB ca. 1GB groß ist, wird wohl ein Rebuild per Installationsscript zu 99% nicht funktionieren. Da man dies ja auch per SSH und PHP-Script machen kann, sollte es ja kein Problem sein.

Sollte ich jetzt schon vorsorglich die Rebuildfunktion in der Upgrade-Routine auskommentieren? Oder wie macht man es am günstigsten bei einem so großen Board?

such mal nach der letzten Version, IMO gabs da mehrere in dem Thread

Das Script ist auch beim Standarddownload der 2.3.1. unter Tools dabei. Meine Frage ist ja, ob ich das Rebuild in der Upgraderoutine abschalten soll und erst nach Abschluss des Upgrades das rebuild mache?

Ich habe auch schon solch große Datenbanken ohne Probleme geupdatet.

Ich habe auch schon solch große Datenbanken ohne Probleme geupdatet.

Weil das so gut wie immer in einem Timeout endete. Das war auch schon bei den Upgrades davor der Fall.
