Invision Power Converge (IP.Converge)

Recommended Posts

Invision Power Services is proud to reveal Invision Power Converge (IP.Converge).

IP.Converge is a new product that allows several products or several product installations to share the same log in credentials database. This means that your members only need to register once and theyll have access to all your converged applications with a single username and password.

IP.Converge will be free to IPS customers who have a current license for IP.Board, IP.Nexus or IP.Dynamic.

IP.Converge, via its powerful administration interface, allows you to register new IP.Converge ready applications, such as IP.Nexus, IP.Dynamic and IP.Board. Once an application is registered, your members will begin using IP.Converge transparently to log in and manage their account.

IP.Converge only stores the members log in details. Profiles, such as permission information and display names are kept with the local applications.

Not only can you centralize your members log in credentials, you can also link up several applications over the internet. IP.Converge is specifically designed to allow IP.Converge ready applications the ability to link up - the applications dont need to be in the same database, server or even network!.

For example, you may wish to create a social network of IP.Boards all sharing a single log in. All participating sites are listed in the IP.Converge welcome page. Clicking the link from the IP.Converge welcome page automatically logs you in.

Preview IP.Converge Now

We have set up a fictitious website for a fictitious company called Widgets, Inc. This website makes use of IP.Dynamic for the actual website management, IP.Nexus for handling the customer center (sales, tickets, etc) and two separate IP.Boards for handling community and technical support.

IP.Converge is still in private beta; IP.Nexus is in closed public beta testing and IP.Dynamic is still in private alpha. Please be aware that as the software is still under development the versions shown for this demonstration are not final and you should expect to come across bugs and other oddities.

Additionally, the Widget skin is only a demonstration skin and will not form part of the template set for any of our products and will not be available for download. Please be aware that the skin is just for demonstration and as such expect some odd positioning or link coloring on different browsers. The aim was to provide an overview of the applications and not a compliant perfect template set.

Visit the Widgets, Inc. website

Simply click the Register link from the Widgets website to create your IP.Converge account. Once your account has been created, youll be returned to the Widgets Website already logged in.

You can visit the IP.Converge application at any time by clicking on the Member Services link in the Widgets Website menu.

More Information

We're compiling a list of FAQs to answer all the common questions. Please visit this page for the list of FAQ titles.

Tell us what you think

We're always interested in customer's comments and feature ideas. We have created a new forum for providing feedback on the IP.Converge framework and application. Please use the relevant IP.Nexus and IP.Dynamic forums to discuss those products.

Reporting Bugs

Please note that this demonstration is alpha and beta software. If you wish to report any bugs please use this bug reporting category. Please do not report any templating or CSS bugs as it has been noted that all the templates have been designed specifically for this demonstration and will not form part of any final product.

dann kannst du dafür (php kenntnisse vorrausegsetzt) eigene module schreiben...

oder: das kommende ip-nexus mit der ipb datanebank benutzen... oder... 2 oder mehrere Foren mit der gleichen Userbase betreiben... dabei kommt freude auf...

http://kompsoft.de/test/ipc/

testen kannste hier. Ist auf deutsch gestellt... nur dass du siehst was noch nicht geht... also eigentlich fast alles :D

also eigentlich fast alles

Genau genommen tatsächlich fast "nix"

Ausser das sich neue kleine Fenster öffnen,

und man ne Email-Addi eingeben muss (Spaaaaaaam......)

Hmmmm

==========
